It seems silly at first but once you use it for a while you can see how useful it is. Like most technology, its what you make of it.

Ah, now I hadn't thought of that before. It seemed to me like something for people who just couldn't shut the fuck up about themselves, but I can see how it could be useful for something like what you mentioned.

I'm a facebook addict, but I like looking at pictures of my friends and girls that I'm looking to maybe date. However twitter is pretty lame. I don't see what the attraction is.

Facebook has the "microblog" (the status update) too but there's much more fun stuff.
