Born in the wrong era, sadly.
I dunno. There is definitely an appreciation for the female form as exemplified by her in the modern era. Far more women such as her can have their beauty immortalized via the digital camera. Now, granted, this appreciation isn't nearly as widespread now as it was during Rubens' day. But there are plenty of men, such as myself, and women who find a woman like her visually pleasing. More and more there is the rejection of the 'accepted' model of beauty that is an anorexic beanpole.
Now, if only fat guys got this kind of appreciation, I'd have it made.
I think a lot of them don't have a problem with fatter guys.
They don't have a problem with them....but they don't really seek them out, either.
I think that in general, women just aren't as fussed about guys' bodies. They have preferences, but when push comes to shove I don't think we're as likely to have a "type." There are a ton of girls with nice bodies dating pudgy guys, but it's not because they have a thing for pudgy guys.....that's just who they ended up with.
Or maybe I'm just projecting. My dating history is all over the map, body shape-wise.
