^^^ Yeah, you really can't top that short of FTL voluntarily putting up National service ads.

Yeah, everytime I hear that I think back to high school. We used to have assemblies on various things (drunk driving, shaken baby crap, etc) that the whole school would have to attend, and throughout these assemblies we would have LITERAL commercial breaks where they would turn on multiple projectors and play National Guard Commercials. Insane. I dont know who the recruiter bribed but NOBODY seemed to have a problem with it.

Woah. The worst assembly I went to was the African American club being loud and obnoxious on stage and BLASTING music. I probably still have tinnitus from that fucking show. I almost passed out laughing though because a guy was heckling them as best he could over the REALLY FUCKING LOUD RAP MUSIC, which I guess made it worth it.

Did the recruiter say to the audience "Service guarantees citizenship" after the movie?

First time I thought it was funny.  Now I want to kill myself whenever I hear that god damned ad!

I understand the point of it is for me to get annoyed with bureaucrats, and fuck all I am!  But that god damned ad KILLS ME now.  They did a good job at getting me pissed and annoyed at the gov't.  But FUCK.
