I don't know that he was that excited about bombing Yemen, but he definitely sounded like he finished the whole pitcher of war on terror kool-aid.
Most pro-war folks will at least concede that inspiring a few new terrorists is an unfortunate side effect of taking out the current terrorists in mid-village hideouts.

I thought he was right on a few points, but not on others. He's right that Yemen cannot negotiate with terrorists, it just won't work, they don't understand logic or reason, only nutty religious dogma and faith. But the fact that he almost refused to acknowledge blowback was kinda lame. He could have at least acknowledged it and said "hey it happens, but that's what's part of war" or something, but he completely ignored it altogether and I thought that was fail. Overall I thought it was a tough and challenging but altogether decent interview. Mark gave him a hard time, and he pushed back, and in the end both parties were satisfied and essentially shook hands and parted. I liked that.

That was one probably the best of all the Edge-ington posts! Mark was really going after this guy and trying to get him to see the flaws in his "kill'em ALL!" logic. But the guy proved that he is incapable of learning the difference between muslim and terrorist. I especially loved the end when mark was pimping the guys website.
