I look forward to episodes where Sam is on it.
I like Sam on the show, when he starts to talk about "Law of Attraction" stuff I just grin an bear it.
Some people are more opposed to being forced to have a vaccine.
I am 100% opposed to forced vaccination, and that isn't the point anyways, I am reffering to the science.
When they're wrong, why don't you smart people call them up and inform them of your opinion.
I've called the show numerous time (Scott in Winnipeg) and will be sure to bring this up.
I understand that you probably know more about vaccines than I do. I used to get a flu shot and get sick. I don't anymore and I don't get sick. All the science in the world isn't showing me the results I'm looking for so I decided to go against what the commonfolk do.
I like Sam on the show. I don't like Law of Attraction. I too have to 'grin and bear it'. . .but in doing so usually I just skip ahead to the next caller that doesn't have to do with LOA.
I know you call in Scott, I was referring to other live listeners. It is possible to call in a week later with the same subject. I hear it all the time. They don't get mad.
The flu shot is a bad example of a good vaccine. I've never gotten it. I have on the other hand gotten a large number of other vaccines required for work in primary care in hospitals. I am also a big proponent of widespread vaccination. I'm also a pre-med senior who is about to get a biochemistry degree and currently works in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Vaccines in general are very good for most people. Some are stupid like the flu shot. To use the flu shot as an example of why nobody should get any vaccines is just plain retarded and shows a giant lack of scientific understanding not to mention a giant failure in practical application of logic.
The "flu shot got me sick, so all vaccines are evil" argument is major fail. Let's do a basic logic statement with that: "Flu shot = vaccine; flu shot = sick; sick = bad; vaccine = bad". While the first three statements may be true in some cases, the leap to the final statement is completely fallacious and in this case very wrong.
