Title: Song that reminds me of the show
Post by: stepnoj on April 26, 2012, 10:12:04 AM
Hey all,

I recently discovered this band, and this song reminds me so much of Mark & Ian and the themes they discuss and believe so strongly about. Police corruption, activism, the drug war, etc.. Hoping they hear this song. It came out in like 1991. I know they talk about how hard it is to find liberty minded music and promote Raja Mojo, which I have yet to listen to.

Check it out:

The first one definitely sounds better than those Raja Mojo clips they play during the commercials.

The second one... not so much.

Not as much for Free Talk Live, but certainly for its rivals;

Lyrics to Talk Radio :
is the damage already done?

is that nauseating stream of words

really dripping from your tongue?

did you have a sleepless night?

can I introduce a catheter

to siphon off your life?

talk radio i love you

you fulfill a need

you're a hideous

reminder

of how this

country really feels

when do you find time to breathe?

with that idiot wind whistling

through the gaps between your teeth

when do you get time to feed

with all the crap you're spouting

it's a wonder you can eat

all the bigots and the cheery

running hand in hand

spittle flies from gaping mouths

they'll never ever understand
