Title: Problem with the freekeene.com plug
Post by: ahasp on September 25, 2010, 08:38:13 PM
You all assume that everyone is familiar with Keene (and how to spell it).  When you say it, it could sound like freaking.com or it could be spellded Freekeen.com, freekean.com, or freekeane.com.

I never thought of that.  Maybe the ad needs adjusted.

I had a crash course in language living in New England.  A professor talked about his wots or his watts for an hour.  I never thought living in America that English would be a barrier to communication.  Turns out he was talking about a case of WARTS.  How did I know.

Just saying, I lived there so I assumed freekeene.com was the city in New Hampshire.  I guess that not everyone will do that.  Not everyone will keep trying if they misspell Keene the first time or go to Google and search.  Google is great for people who can't spell.

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion, actually I own freekeen.com as well.  I figured that would be the most common misspelling.
