So I called the AMP line last night and when Ian picked up on air he asked if it was Sam (I called in cold not knowing what they were talking about) and I said no, it's Scott, sorry to dissapoint you, and he went onto another caller. Ouch.

Yeah, I heard that and was a little bit surprised.  I think it might have been un-intentional.  A talk radio host has to do five things at the same time as well as keep outputting a continuous stream of chatter.  Sort of like walking, chewing gum, rubbing your tummy, juggling chainsaws, and reciting the Gettysburg Address at the same time.

Hi Scott, did you listen to the next segment where we explained?  As I recall, you called the landline set up for Sam.  That is not the AMP line.  (It may have been a long time ago, though.)

Every other call we'd gotten on that line except Sam's have been sales calls.  Normally it's only plugged into the DSL connection.

Hey Ian. Just listened to the next segment this morning via podcast. I must have an old AMP saved in my cell phone, that's what I was calling from. I have the local number and the regular 800 number (AMP 877# doesn't work in Canada) savid in there, time for me to update it.
