Haven't heard it.. is it better than the Pricle "ad" ?

It's certainly less coherant.

I think the 'punchline' is "NOW I GET TO GO TO IRAQ!!!!!!!!1", but I could be wrong. Anti-war ad?

I think it does say now I get to go to Iraq. I heard it this morning and got freaked out :P too little sleep makes something like that sound like someone is trying to get into your head.

Makes me want to sign up for the military so I get to go to Iraq.  :p

It is so offensive to the ears it inspires me to go to war.

Thanks. I thought it was something about needing to buy a gun rack.

If it IS in some manner an anti-war ad, I think they need to make it a lot clearer.

Love to see Ian & Mark deal with that call

I think mark or ian should chime in about what that ad is. I have a strong useless curiousity to know.

Yeah the first time I heard the ad it confused the fuck out of me, like my soul had been violated.
Then I started to think it was a teaser ad, I thought today it was becoming more coherent but that could just be me getting used to the ad and starting to understand it.  I could make out most of it except the yelling part at the end which is apparently 'now I get to die in Iraq'.

Who is responsible?  What is its purpose?

The other day, instead of Mark reading copy for an ad like he usually does, he launched into 'The Road not Taken' by Robert Frost.  There was no context or commentary, he just read the poem and then immediately Ian brought up a topic as if it didn't even happen.

It's like somebody is buying ad space and filling it with lunacy to mess with us.

Yeah but mark reading a poem doesn't hurt.

I've been a listener for a long time, but I have never come on the forums before...

I figured someone on here would tell me what that ad was

seems like you're all as clueless as me

Didn't they have somebody on talking about some libertarian comedy show one time? I thought it was supposed to be an ad for that
