Ian and Mark breaking their own rule
« on: July 10, 2009, 10:02:15 AM »

On the beginning of July 9 2009 podcast Ian and Mark wished a person a happy birthday. Do you think this a violation of the no shout out policy of FTL?

It was likely a joke or they were paid.  Otherwise, I gonna get them back by using force against them - just as they did against the reputation of their show and my ears.

I'd say that it's their show and they can do whatever they want, whenever they want, and for whatever reasons they want.

I think they only reason they dont allow shout outs cuz if each caller who called in could be making shout outs and you'll probably have people going on and naming more then one person to shout out to and it would only hinder the show and the entertainment value. So what if they wish someone happy bday?

Who are Ian and Mark, and what podcast are you talking about?

The very beginning of last night's podcast.

It's their show, they can do what they want.

I'm just curious who that person was...

If you called in and said it was your birthday i'm sure they would say happy birthday and go straight to asking what ur calling about

I celebrated your birthday with a bottle of Astroglide.

Do you think this a violation of the no shout out policy of FTL?

Do you think this was worthy of a thread?

But I guess I also wonder who this mystery person is. People have birthdays every day.

Maybe he has cancer.

The rules I set on my property ARE rules for other people.  If I want to set something for myself, it's more like a personal goal... it's my own job to self-discipline.
