Word on the street is that one of FTL's advertisers is broke and has no assets. Multiple lawsuits involved.
Anyone know more?
-
I'm on Front Sight's mailing list and it appears to me that they are selling hard, but that they are not broke. They've been growing every year, not shrinking. They seem like a good company, and I really want to take one of their pistol classes, but I don't have the money for it.

Ditto.
-
Its not worth the money.
-
My understanding is that Front Sight is a Scientology front group.
-
They can worship lizards and pasta all they want, if the offer is legitimate.
-
They always seemed sketchy to me.

Phase Three of development includes: Front Sight Master Planned Community. Gated community of 177 one-acre, luxury home sites, 350 condominiums. Complete Commercial Center serving all the needs of the residential community. Community Center. Private K-12 school. Paved roads, municipal water, sewer system, power and data cable all underground.
I remember when they tried to pre-sell the condos. Are they still doing that?
-
Guess they're trying to build a full scale military compound/fort type community?

they do provide training and so they do indeed provide some value in return for your investment
however the old saying is still true: a fool and his money are soon parted
and...
cut off their water and supplies, surround them...and you've got WACO all over again...
(disclosure: I am a life member of Front Sight, the National Rifle Association, and the New Hampshire Liberty Alliance...amongst many others...non-disclosed...)
Enjoy!

But... I thought he was a millionaire patriot.
Offering training for pennies on the dollar.
Giving away free guns.

He is. It's a business plan, they get you into it and then you go back and spend thousands of more dollars for more training at their facility.
Anyways I got another e-mail from them saying they are hiring. So I doubt that they are going bankrupt. In fact with the whole gun scare I think they're probably doing more business than ever.
-
To clarify, I know nothing but rumor, I'm just seeing whats up.
-
Back in 1999 I took their 1-day sub-machine-gun class.
It was worth every penny. Airfare, hotel, everything.
I, too, would have spent several thousands at Front Sight if I had that money to spend. I know some dot-com boom types who did indeed do that and they also have said it was well worth it.
If I could fund a "Front Sight New Hampshire", I would do it in a heartbeat.
No doubt the current down-turn is effecting subscribers to Front Sight just as it's effecting everyone.

I feel the same way. As long as there is no Jim Jonesisk cult joining requirement. When I told my partner/manthing about the offer he was extremely interested. It might be his birthday / Christmas / Fathers day gift for the year and I bet he won't complain.
