Ever thought of textmarks?

Updates.freetalklive.com works well enough for me most of the time, but sometimes I am unable to check my email for one reason or another and I may miss a time sensitive announcement.

What I am suggesting is that someone start a textmarks for ftl.  Everyone who wanted to receive the updates posted there could get them on their phones, which is more convenient and faster than checking the updates page or their email.

www.tatango.com for text message groups.  I set this up for my fraternity and it works well as long as its not abused by the administrators.
