Glad they took out the "whoop, whoop" music at the end. Though I did think it was funny to hear some gan'sta rap playing behind the voices of decidedly non-gan'sta-ish named "Nick" and "Zoey". You just can't be hardcore gan'sta when you got names like dat.

Appreciate what they're doing but hope more frequent content is produced. Hearing the same commentary repeated is annoying, not informative. ..and no, I'm not going to "do one myself if I think I can do better".

I wish I could be as enthusiastic about the Dave Ridley Dog Training Report.

"You may. <click> be interested in <click> the thirty protesters at the Manchester airport. <click>"

My dog doesn't know whether to sit, lie down, roll over, or laugh at the feeble turnout.

Are the Cop Block & Ridley bits just for the podcast or are they broadcast too?

If podcast only, then low production quality can be overlooked, I guess. But of these bits are for the broadcast audience, there's probably a whole lot of people wondering how these productions get on the air.

The "current" one (they're replayed so often that I don't remember if I heard it last week or only 30 times this week.. the same one) has really bad audio for the chic's bit. Sounds like a bunch of blowing at the mic. The guy's but is better, it's great actually.. but I've already heard it at least twice in every show for what seems like a week. I'm ready to turn it off whenever I hear the "pull ya over  juss ta play are bainjo" song... which was good the first couple of times I heard it.

Ridley's quality is always ace (except for when he doesn't delete a few snippets that were probably not meant to be included in the final piece). But again, repetition is extremely dull.

I realize there's a broad & growing audience with many people tuning in & out, but for fairly regularly listeners like me, it's getting old quick. I appreciate what Cop Block & Ridley do.. just thinking there should be a step somewhere before broadcast for a bit of QC, rotate content, or maybe just play the bits once during a show instead of hearing the same thing.

Ridley's criticism of Adam's hunger strike, etc. is great... very Andy Rooney-esque.

Criticism can be rude, but the comments in that episode are not. Hopefully my own criticism of Ridley & Cop Block is being taken in the same productive way that Adam seems to have taken Ridley's.
