It seems that the tracker for the Nov 2006 to Jul 2007 torrents (www2.ioerror.us:6969) is no longer running.  The other trackers are fine.  Is this tracker working for anyone else?  Are new torrent files needed?  Or should I just stop trying to seed these particular torrents?

No one is seeding Sept 09.  Or is there an error?

Yeah, the sole tracker (3322.org) says "failure: requested download is not authorized for use with this tracker".

Using μTorrent, I did get 3 peers from DHT / PEX, but the download rate was ~47 kB/s (3-4 days for the whole thing).

Im downloading all of the archives that are available via utorrent so I will be seeding them if my computer is on.The september one doesnt have any seeds available.

You could try this tracker Ian http://openbittorrent.com/

It is an open version of the pirate bay tracker which isnt tied to a bittorrent index.

I wasn't trying to get the whole month and over night it downloaded so thank-you whoever seeded it.  I am seeding but like I said I only went for a handful of shows not the whole month.

You folks need to submit each torrent to thepiratebay and mininova so more people can find it.

Optimally I'd like anyone to be able to search http://www.torrentz.com/search?q=free+talk+live and find all of the torrents of the show.

Why group them by month?  It would make more sense to distribute each day's show via P2P individually, in addition to the regular podcast distribution.  Some P2P clients can use RSS as well.  The point is that if something happens to the centralized HTTP server that's servicing the podcasts, or if some peer can serve it to you faster, you'd get the podcast through the best means available.

You made some good points there. I did a search on the topic and found most people will agree with your blog.
