Why do you work where you work? What would your perfect job be?

I love what I do.

Working on software for A/V stuff.  Just helped a guy out with some issues so he could complete the music for an animated TV series.  Going to work is fun!

Self employed here. Stressful when it's slow, but I'm my own boss

Meh--I'm retired, and just do some part-time work in order to pay for vacations and such things. My wife also works part-time.

It pays some of the bills, and I would rather do something else.  The job market isn't quite so fantastic right now though, so that's presenting me with a challenge.  I actually don't mind the job most days - I'm just po'.

I'm self employed, but it DOES involve cleaning toilets and delegating my employees to clean toilets. So it's not the utopia of businesses to be in. It does pay great though!

I don't work and when I worked I was a mop jockey for a Chaldean market.

I was being treated "like family." Which meant that I got paid nothing and I got some of it in kind and not in FRNs.
