The tournament will be held in China from September 10 to 30th 2007.  It is seen as a prelude to the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.  After the final, each member of each participating team, in order of ranking, will get a turn to kick Nathyn in the balls really hard.  OK, I made that last part up.  Would be nice though.

The much-anticipated USA vs North Korea game, taking place on September 11th of all days, ended in a tie (2:2).  Wheew.

Germany wiping the floor with Argentina (11:0) was painful to watch.

I would expect the usual contenders - US, China, Norway, Brazil. But I haven't seen the groups, so I don't know how it could play out. Surprising that the North Koreans could tie the US, though. Their players must get extra portions of tree-bark soup. Can't have the national team starving to death like the rest of your population.
