I do not own any console.  I have played one video game, and I failed miserably at it.  I'm sure I could fuck up Pong.  And yes, I actually do know what Pong is, thank you very much.

Which game?

Mario something or other.

...Depraved?

Wasn't my house or my Nintendo.  I was forced.

Being coerced to play Nintendo...isn't that like every child's dream?

Remember the good old days when Nintendo was the RPG king? Then the PS took over.

Yoshi's Island 1 and 2 were amazing...so was the Super Mario RPG.

Yoshi Island was good, but that wasn't an RPG, right? SUper Mario RPG was ok.  There were only three real good RPGs on the Super Nintendo, FF2, FF3, and Crono Triger.

The thing I miss most about the Super and Sega are the fighting games.  Today's games just don't compare to Eternal Champions, Street Fighter II Turbo (or the Sega version), and Killer Instint.  My favorite none 16bit fighter is Tobal 2, after that, everything went downhill.

I hope Eternal Champions comes out for the Nintendo Wii on the VC, I'll buy it.

Yeah, it had the kind of storyline that was RPGish...I don't know though, I might be mistaken.

You forgot about Fire Emblem and Earthbound.

Earthbound was pretty good, I have never heard of Fire Emblem.  Breath of Fire II and Secret of Mana were ok.

But yeah, I guess I would like playing a Wii version of Earthbound.

There's talks of bringing back a lot of the first party Nintendo RPGs. I'd get a Wii just for those.

If you've ever played Super Smash Bros. Melee, Marth and Roy are the two characters from Fire Emblem.

I have not.  Never played the gamecube.  I would get SSBM but SSBB is coming to Wii next year so I will wait for that.  You should get Wii because it is super fun, not because of some RPG.  Hell, even your parents and cute girls will want to play the Wii with you.

I'll probably get it in a year or so.
