voting
« on: October 04, 2006, 11:06:27 AM »

The other day I was listening to the show and you were talking about voting and how the Democrats and Republicans were arguing on how to make voting more legitimate.  How the Democrats didn't want people to have to show and ID to vote like the Republicans wanted.  I also feel this is rediculous, the easier and more legitimate the vote is the better.
You see I feel that the main parties don't want this........
1) Easier and more legitimate voting would allow for more people to vote that are not brain washed by the parties and get them to vote the way the parties want them too.
2) More legitimate would not allow for cheating by parities, which I believe is rampant, as we have seen in ILL and Ohio.
3) More voting would take away the power from the politicians and give it back to US!!!

More accesible and legitimate voting should always be a priority, but we have politicians organizing it..........the ones that don't want it.

I feel these big steps would help on increasing voting.

1) internet voting
2) phone voting
3) voting day holiday

Thank You!!!

I'd rather there were NO voting!  In any liberal democracy, you're just simply choosing how much force is initiated against your life, liberty and property.  :)

They should just create a single political party, that way everyone who votes will be right!
And since Americans value voting for a winner more than they value voting for someone they support, everyone will be happy!

No, just a majority but that's all that matters right? The loosers get what's coming to them because they didn't pick the popular choice! :P
