I can't vote for the question as worded.  "Are you responsible" too strongly covers individual responsibility; "are you partly responsible" or the like would more clearly articulate the concept of shared responsibility.

True, though I think you meant the question as worded conveyed "sole" responsibility.  I didn't intend it to mean that and have changed the wording (and have allowed people to change their votes.

and somehow making it so everyone is responsible for something that one person does.

I never said everyone is (and I never would).  I said that the people that knowingly and willfully empower people to take action are partly responsible for those actions (and the actor is responsible as well of course).

And that is why the country is in the shape it is in now.

Terrible things happen when people say, "My way at any cost".

Ah.  It's easier to do it that way.

That's what socialists say too....it's too hard to convince people to voluntarily contribute money to this or that cause.  So let's force them to.

I don't care what the easy way is.  If we don't have principles we are no better than our enemies.

We aren't free enough yet to exercise 'principle' and accomplish anything.
I guess it's up to you to decide when we're free enough to do that, huh?

I'm going to aim for results

And I am telling you that your "going for results" is using force against innocent people, which is the opposite of the "results" you are trying to obtain.

How is a bunch of people who want to leave you free to run your life part of the problem of people trying to run your life?

These are the people who just want to live their own lives and leave everyone else alone.  They are not the problem.  The people who want ro run other people's lives (voters) are the problem.

At any rate, no matter what their reasons for not voting, they are innocent and voters are aggressing against them by voting.

Permitting slavery to proceed unmitigated is almost as much the problem as slavery itself.

Wow.

Is permitting hunger almost as much of a problem as starving someone?  I guess people who don't feed the hungry should get almost as much jail time as people who actively take food from people and starve them.

If you vote for something or someone, you are giving sanction to it. Therefore, you are response such that you gave it moral support.

I fail to see why voting to slow the growth of; or reduce the size of government is worse.

Yep.

Just like stealing from innocent people to mitigate hunger is wrong...using force against innocent people to mitigate government is wrong.

Don't you guys see you are arguing from effect here?

"I think everyone should have an education.  Let's use the government to do it!"

"I think everyone should have health care.  Let's use the government to do it!"

How are these different from

"I think everyone should have freedom.  Let's use the government to do it!"
