Vindictive Activists

Late last month, Ridley Report had released the following puddle of defeatist whining onto the MegaTubes --

NH: Ostracising vindictive activists? --

I'm normally a big fan of Dave Ridley, and I totally understand why he'd make a video like that, but vindictive activism (VA) does carry a substantial value.  Someone has to play the "bad cop" - a bunch of peaceful hippies never got anything done just by themselves.  Civil disobedience (CD) creates more government jobs than it destroys, VA does the opposite - it appeals to government thugs who just cannot be persuaded through reason alone.

MLK had his Black Panthers, Gandhi had more violent branches of the Quit India movement keeping pressure on all fronts, etc.  The Boston Tea Party was a vindictive act.  Etc.  You get the idea.  It's a dirty job, but somebody's gotta do it.  Now, I'm not encouraging Timothy McVeigh type of violence, but TP'ing a judge's house is a great idea - he sends thugs to people's homes to drag them off to jail for victimless crimes all the time!  When the gloves come off, a lot of petty bureaucrats will piss their pants and quit.  Raising the cost of tyranny is what it's all about!

CD + VA = success

TPing someone's house is a terrible thing.  It's not fun and games!  I could see a teenager not getting how things work and doing something like that.  However, if a 25 year old did that to someone other than a friend, I'd loss a lot of respect for them.  I likely wouldn't turn them in, though.

When I was a kid, I'd unroll houses.  It's the right thing to do.

I'm working on vast improvements to the old TP'ing technology I've first implemented in grade school.  The current plan involves robotic propeller-navigated GPS-linked hot-air balloons carrying loads of TP and unrolling them over the house / property.  Then the balloons disintegrate, because they themselves are made from TP (layer-pressed and chemically-treated to withstand heat and moisture).  The chemicals, motor, and electronics involved weigh 14.25oz and cost around $200 - about equal to the cost of the TP they are able to offload.  (You'll need a decent-size van / truck to carry the equipment and a safe place within a 2-3 miles of the target to unload them and go through the ~5-15 minute inflation procedure.)

See, us vindictive "mad scientist" types don't need "Good Luck", With That or with anything else!  We have something much better than luck - our virginity!  Err, no, I mean our superior strategic skills combined with science and engineering!  Nerd power FTW!

Massive initiation of force against someone's property is wrong.

The Philosophy of Alex Libman's Humor is a 48-volume work, and I'm guessing you still haven't made it past page 2000 of the first volume...

Yes, but we're talking about a judge who serves a system that initiates aggression against others.

And we could be dropping things far more toxic than TP...

I'm for it.  Judges are very active in the war on drugs, I smoke pot, and I hereby request assistance from anyone willing to give it.  Now me and anyone who wants to are combatants in a defensive war.  TP'ing the enemy is not initiation of force, it's responding with significantly less force.
