No kidding. It happened to me again today that someone asked me who I wanted to see win, Hillary, Obama, or McCain. I was asked many questions on the subject and the answers included such lines as: None of them. They all want to raise taxes and take away freedom. (S)he's a dishonest and bad person who can't be trusted. The list goes on. I didn't want to spend any time explaining to these particular family members though because they are not the type who understand real discussions. They live in a very simple world in which the whole range of information worth considering is somewhere in the short explanation on the nightly news.

When I point out how something I mentioned in the past has happened just as I predicted, eyes glaze over.
