Once a week, on Saturday, we splurge and get a pizza. This has been a pattern for twenty years or so.

I don't see my supper on there.
Shredded leftover pot roast, slow cooked with homemade chipotle bbq sauce & vidalia onions.
Steamed brown rice and a mango/pineapple/avacado/cilantro salad.... with lime juice & black sesame seeds.

Whether or not an item on the poll ends up as a late night snack is yet to be determined.

I eat red meat less than once a week. Same for chicken. And fish.
Sweet potatoes and squash have replaced meat in most curries I make.
Hell, even the kids have meatless days.
More often than that, and I agree with the disgustipating.
Less than that, and I end up back on iron supplements.

Hey, Denis, you're probably the guy to ask.....
I need a good substitute for smoked cajun pork products in a few dishes.
I'm not happy with the smoked tofu stuff. Suggestions?

On the positive side, I'll be looking good for all those ladies at PorcFest.

Yum, that sounds delicious.  What's so bad about meat again?

I can add the spices to make it cajun; just need something with an actual smoky flavor as the meat substitute.
I've not tried Tempeh before. Will see what my choices are at Whole Foods this week. Thanks.

Thanks hellbilly I was about to suggest that.
Tempeh (specially sauteed in Sesame oil) is the best. Yum.

Well, I guess tacos would be the option closest to what I actually had.  I went to Tijuana Flats with some friends and had a chicken quesadilla and some chips.

Tempeh can be tasty...
For a ground beef substitute try TVP (textured vegetable protein).
Isn't there a meat substitute made with wheat gluten?
