"Insurrection" sounds edgy and has a "hook"

The current one is going to be harder and harder to deal with as more affiliates come on board.
Frankly, it ("You Control") also comes off as a tad desperate -- "we have no callers... PLEASE, call us!"

I find "This is Free Talk Live where you take control..." to be very catchy and works very well for what you provide. Though I find other advertisement phrases to be stuck in my head thanks to you guys repeating it, repeating it, repeating it... Well, I suppose your commercial pays off  :oops:

I've always hated "Talk Radio's Insurrection"

Who are we supposedly rising up against?

It's not incredibly well thought out.

As per the KISS principle (keep it simple stupid) I have to vote for "Talk Radio You Control" because it's simple and explanatory.

Talk Radio's Insurrection is gimmicky and mostly pointless... It would be just as effective as going with the standard "Talk that Rocks"
or "Extreme Hot Talk Radio" or "Radio Rebellion"

I also definitely would not support the trend of moving away from being the talk show that anyone can call in about whatever they want, to becoming a more politically driven, standard, typical talk show.

If anything, the only tag lines I would support, would be if someone came up with a catchier way of saying "Talk Radio you control" in an alliterative fashion... Having the principle of the show as the tag line is something I see as very important.

hehe... You could combine the two... "Talk Radio You Control" and "Talk Radio's Insurrection"
and say "Talk Radio, out of control"

Talk Radio that won't be controlled... MAAAAAAAAN.

maybe "Talk Out of Control" isn't such a bad idea... as long as the principle of the show was still frequently spelled out...

I voted for Talk Radio You Control, but I like them both.  Basically, I was persuaded by the argument that people who don't really know the meaning of the word being turned off by "insurrection".  The same way Ian doesn't like to use the word "anarchy".
