Should mark put his interviews on a seperate podcast?
« on: October 23, 2009, 01:50:46 AM »

I think he should put his interviews on separate podcast but leave it on the FTL stream for awhile till he gets a good amount of people downloading his podcast, then he could take it off and have his own podcast / interview show and could cross promote FTL and his podcast and even do some ads on his own podcast. and also should put it up on podcast alley.

and I personally like his interviews ; Maybe some people might like the interviews over FTL and get their dose of liberty that way

this one is slightly different. mine is just to split and my idea of how to do it other is how much it should be split, and it looks like Most people from both polls want it split but are mixed on how to split it

I'd be fairly happy if Ian would stop calling it the "Mark Interview Series."  It sounds retarded to have Mark's first name and only his first name in the title, and it makes me want to throw my iPod at Ian every time he says it.

I think they should separate it like they do The Skeptics Guide.  http://www.theskepticsguide.org/

I think "Mark's Interview series" is a fine name. After all, it's Mark, he's interviewing people, and it's a series.

My gripe is that they're not always indicated in the notes. So I don't even know which FTL shows have an interview to listen to... and lately I haven't been listening as much -- mostly because (a) I have been working from home a lot lately, and I usually listen to podcasts while commuting, and (b) I've been spending more time listening to the CNHT podcast. Dry & boring compared to FTL, but with REAL New Hampshire information, stuff that actually affects and is of interest to generally active NH residents... not what 2 dozen moonbats in Keene are doing.

I listen to CNHT to sleep well.  Ed is the sandman.

I want them in the notes too, that way I can fast forward to listen to the ending commercials.

However, he calls it "The Mark interview series."  Calling it "Mark's interview series" would at least sound less jarring.
