ok, personal anecdote, the guy my wife dated back in '06 while our marriage was on the rocks shaved his testicles.  he really enjoyed the clean feeling.  he was also into having his balls licked and sucked, so she was pretty happy with it.

if your significant other isnt into playing with your scrot, or you do not like to have your balls licked/sucked, then it comes down to a matter of personal preference.  if you do it, you would need to keep up with it, because when it grows back it will itch like a mother fucker.

I gotta confess, I let things get out of hand occasionally because I know that no one but myself is looking presently.  But I can't stand it, so the most I ever let it go is like a week or two.  It's annoying.

I used to do that all the time. It adds to the sensation when you're getting your sack licked and sucked upon. It also shows them off more to your lady or gentleman. I say go for it.

I keep myself shaved around the sack/shaft and shaved/trimmed elsewhere.  I've never had a problem with itching/scratching, but it could depend on what your hair is like.  In the trimmed areas, I like to keep the hair at a length that's short, but long enough so that it's not prickly.

It does make it slightly more pleasant for the female crowd, but I imagine it feels at least slightly similar to when a woman shaves her crotchal region.  It feels weird at first, and then when the hair starts to grow back, you'll itch like whoa. 

My wife has been getting a Brazilian wax for about a year and OMFG that should be mandatory for all woman. Way better than shaving. Not just for the looks either, friction is not an issue.

Well, I'd say it's a 50/50 thing.  After all, a partnership is about compromise sometimes.  If you expect your partner to keep their pubic hair trimmed or non-existent, you should make an effort to keep yours neat - unless for some reason he/she likes the jungle look.  It's one of those things that's different for every person and every couple.
