I wouldn't go THAT far.  But, no, they shouldn't limit the callers.  I think they should dump some callers a lot sooner than they do, but other than that, no limit on the amount or length of callers.

Limit the people who can't get their ideas out or don't know what show they called. Limit the people who don't have any point other than "i agree with the hosts". Limit anyone who mentions the network you're on or the other kookie shows/comercials on the network. Limit the conspiracy nuts (execpt for mascot Paula) and the the people complaining about you being anti-Xian.

Absolutely not. I don't listen to the show as much as I used to, and I would probably not listen to it at all if the calls were limited. Like Jay said, the calls make the show. Even the shitty conspiracy ones.

They should start limiting callers -- mostly by dumping them earlier (especially when they're boring) and/or not taking them thru the break -- when there are calls on hold nonstop thru the show.
Presumably that will happen first on Saturdays.

I think that there are / will be other forms of media covering the libertarian movement and the Free State Project that are more appropriate for just having the host soliloquously rant about the day's events.  FTL, on the other hand, is a live caller-driven radio show.  That's what it does, and it does it very well.
