Be real, what are his chances of winning the Presidency in '08?

Sure thing; nothing can stop the RPR!
- 1 (2.6%)
Good; it's gonna be close...
- 8 (21.1%)
Maybe; could happen - not banking on it
- 18 (47.4%)
Unlikely; not enough yet for success - would be a miracle
- 5 (13.2%)
No way; just cannot happen in current political climates
- 6 (15.8%)

Ron Paul 2008?

Ronnie can run fast but he's just not gonna catch Mr. Mitt rhymes with s--- and Rudolph the Red-nosed anus.

Not bagging the Revolution at all - but certain supporters have become critical of Alan Colmes for saying as much and I think it's not a political statement as much as factual statement to say he has no chance at being the President in '08. I think the movement is beyond important but it takes time to affect change and it's just that simple. Too much, too fast in support to know if that grass-roots support will maintain this vigor in '12 and '16. The argument made against saying such things has been that it bring about a kind of 'self-fulling prophecy' around disheartening the Revolution but I think the movement is far stronger than Alan Colmes or my silly thread a hundred-fold.
I wish all the people in the Ron Paul Campaign the best of luck.

All I can say is if he wins the primary he'll almost certainly win.

I agree, I think the primary will be the hardest part for him.

I don't believe it can happen, but the publicity is always good. The good news is, I'm usually wrong about these things.

I don't think it is likely but I don't ever remember the initial front runner ever getting the nomination
