(It was mentioned on this forum before (http://www.google.com/search?q=Pournelle), but only very briefly.)

PS: I haven't got a clue who "Max Stiner (http://www.google.com/search?q=Max+Stiner)" (Steiner? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Max_Steiner)) is...

I prefer the Nolan Chart, because it clearly and meaningfully expresses the political spectrum based on specific things you can measure.

Pournelle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerry_Pournelle) makes purely subjective calls over which positions are rational and which aren't.  Karlusha (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karl_Marx) is an incoherent idiot that makes L. Ron Hubbard (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L._Ron_Hubbard) sound brilliant in comparison, but it puts him on the same level of rationality as Ayn Rand (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayn_Rand)!

If Ayn rand is the most rational anti-government you can get its a flawed chart for gauging libertarianism.

Also "rational" is highly subjective and not useful at all.
