I prefer the Nolan Chart, because it clearly and meaningfully expresses the political spectrum based on specific things you can measure.

Pournelle makes purely subjective calls over which positions are rational and which aren't.  Karlusha is an incoherent idiot that makes L. Ron Hubbard sound brilliant in comparison, but it puts him on the same level of rationality as Ayn Rand!

If Ayn rand is the most rational anti-government you can get its a flawed chart for gauging libertarianism.

Also "rational" is highly subjective and not useful at all.
