What about Jewish?  We are commanded by the Torah to drink at least one glass of wine every Friday night and Saturday.  And at Passover we are commanded to get drunk.

Hahaha.  It doesn't matter at all.  No connection.  Satanic punk rock?  lol, I love the psychobilly, and I literally just laughed out loud because when I was reading that post the song Satan's Rejects by Demented Are Go was playing.

The point of it is that you're supposed to spend Shabbat at rest, and what better way to rest than to have a glass of wine with your dinner?  Passover is a celebration of liberation from slavery, so you should celebrate it by relaxing so much to commemorate the fact that you're no longer a slave.  Purim is a similar theme except its more of a giant party/carnival atmosphere instead of a relaxed one.

Wine has more alcohol than beer. I think that Italians should be on there if some other people get on for beer drinking.
