No, I tend to make sure my ass is clean unlike some fucktards that have the turdly streaks on their tidy whities.

Fiber has nothing to do with it.  I get bored, even if it's like 2 minutes - I can't go without Internet for that long!

In the shower too - that's why them Japs make waterproof Smartphones (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smartphone), PDA's, MP3 players, etc.  Though the screen is too small to see in the shower, someone ought to invent special virtual glasses for that.

I was in this cheap motel room once.  The chairs were crap, the bed was uncomfortable, but the toilet - best seat available!  I was using a laptop on a portable tray table, so it didn't matter where I sat.  Must have been like 2 hours...

Well...that's different.  I mean, when I'm over at my girlfriends' house or something, one of us usually puts the lid on the toilet seat down and chats while the other does hair or makeup or something.  I've even had conversations with someone using the toilet seat lid as a chair from inside the shower.

I just assumed you were talking about people who were actually making use of the toilet doing uhh...bodily function things.

a good evacuation takes time.   'Drop it like it's hot' is only a few minutes long anyways.

I'm not sure that's the reason the Japs make waterproof smartphones.  I think it might have something to do with public molestation.  Everything always does in Japan.

I actually have all three columns of "The Great American Bathroom Book." However, I prefer to pass the time (among other things) browsing through the "Information Please Almanac." I get a new one every year.

But, what I wan to know is why they call it a "loo?"

From: http://kottke.org/05/02/loo-etymology
 (http://kottke.org/05/02/loo-etymology)
"When people flung their potty waste out of the window, they would shout "Gardez l'eau" [gar-day low]. That's French for "watch out for the water". We probably get the word "loo" from this expression, although some people think it comes from "Room 100" which is what European people used to call the bathroom."

I like listening to classics, particularly Russian classics, on audio while taking long walks in the woods in winter.  Fresh air and adrenalin aids in mental digestion.  In the 'loo' you need something that's amusing for 5 minutes but doesn't have a very complicated plot.

When Windows 7 gets a copy-on-write filesystem with end to end checksumming and unlimited snapshotting for its root filesystem and a window manager as tweakable as Kwin or Compiz and maybe a little bit of multiple workspace support come yell at me again. Some things are more important than webcams! :P

Dual boot?

A 16GB SSD doesn't leave much room to dualboot any non-trivial operating systems and still have room for actual applications and files.

I have my desktop as an NFS server and I do have wifi.

In a better idea, I put opensolaris back on my netbook and now everything works except WPA but I'm buying a new wifi card for it to get that fixed.

I just spent some time on my Xwf's Dell laptop.  It seems okay.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Dell+-+Inspiron+Laptop+with+Intel%26%23174%3B+Pentium%26%23174%3B+Processor+-+Cherry+Red/9693491.p;jsessionid=9C263DB0F76C95793139D11C221689ED.bbolsp-app05-14?id=1218150611112&skuId=9693491

I'm surprised that they're bulky for the year.  This thing is a chunky piece of hardware.  My 17'' HP is thinner, and two years older.  And has more holes in the sides.

Laptops, toilet thread.  Not a derailment.
