I have a dedicated toilet computer. One more benefit of having lots of computers.

toilet webcam....
Too bad FreeBSD doesn't recognize my webcam :(

windows 7 ftw
When Windows 7 gets a copy-on-write filesystem with end to end checksumming and unlimited snapshotting for its root filesystem and a window manager as tweakable as Kwin or Compiz and maybe a little bit of multiple workspace support come yell at me again. Some things are more important than webcams! :P

Dual boot?

A 16GB SSD doesn't leave much room to dualboot any non-trivial operating systems and still have room for actual applications and files.

I have my desktop as an NFS server and I do have wifi.

In a better idea, I put opensolaris back on my netbook and now everything works except WPA but I'm buying a new wifi card for it to get that fixed.

I just spent some time on my Xwf's Dell laptop.  It seems okay.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Dell+-+Inspiron+Laptop+with+Intel%26%23174%3B+Pentium%26%23174%3B+Processor+-+Cherry+Red/9693491.p;jsessionid=9C263DB0F76C95793139D11C221689ED.bbolsp-app05-14?id=1218150611112&skuId=9693491

I'm surprised that they're bulky for the year.  This thing is a chunky piece of hardware.  My 17'' HP is thinner, and two years older.  And has more holes in the sides.

Laptops, toilet thread.  Not a derailment.
