Do people really spend enough time in there to need something to pass the time?

I was in this cheap motel room once.  The chairs were crap, the bed was uncomfortable, but the toilet - best seat available!  I was using a laptop on a portable tray table, so it didn't matter where I sat.  Must have been like 2 hours...

Well...that's different.  I mean, when I'm over at my girlfriends' house or something, one of us usually puts the lid on the toilet seat down and chats while the other does hair or makeup or something.  I've even had conversations with someone using the toilet seat lid as a chair from inside the shower.

I just assumed you were talking about people who were actually making use of the toilet doing uhh...bodily function things.

a good evacuation takes time.   'Drop it like it's hot' is only a few minutes long anyways.

Jesus, what's wrong with you peoples' plumbing?  I don't see why it's necessary to spend any longer than about two minutes.

Fiber has nothing to do with it.  I get bored, even if it's like 2 minutes - I can't go without Internet for that long!

In the shower too - that's why them Japs make waterproof Smartphones, PDA's, MP3 players, etc.  Though the screen is too small to see in the shower, someone ought to invent special virtual glasses for that.

I'm betting you'll be the first dumb fuck to get your brain turned into some cybernetic bee hive. And here I am the fucking singulatarian thinking you're too obsessed with technology!

Bee hive?  Hell no!  I don't even edit Wikipedia anymore.  And I'm really old-school when it comes to some things.  I could live without a GUI.  But a waterproof Smartphone is a must!

I'm not sure that's the reason the Japs make waterproof smartphones.  I think it might have something to do with public molestation.  Everything always does in Japan.
