I see Boortz and orthodox Objectivism as less extreme (read as: makes more sense to the lay person) stepping stones to real libertarianism, introducing them to the ideas and principles (even if contradicting oneself here or there) without looking like anarchists. It's easier to listen to someone on the radio who makes a point to be pragmatic, because then people approach it with the mindset "He believes this will be effective and gives reasons", not the rights arguement of "He believes this is right and gives reasons," because a lot of people think morality is arbitrary.
