I agree with Ian @ -1 for the church background. Then again, maybe Tyler's born-again. I don't know. It might be better if he started getting her involved in some group stuff (no not group sex) and he can find out if he likes her as a friend first. He can also see how she treats a bunch of people instead of the one guy she's dating.
