That was the funniest thing I have heard in a while. I have to deal with drunken clients on a regular basis with mixed results. Sometimes they are nicer afterward for putting up with them. Sometimes I don't see them again for two years because they are so embarrassed.

I hope not.  I voted no, but of course I have no idea.  I don't think there was too much real hostility there...a lot of it was probably due to the alcohol.  At least, a lot of the incoherence was due to the alcohol ;)

I really hope not.  It's not Ian's fault that the guy got on the phone drunk and didn't listen to a word he was saying.....but yes, it was hilarious.

It was good stuff and the fact is he was probably asking questions that 80%+ of radio listeners also want to ask but don't bother to.

It may be worthwhile for Ian & co. to periodically describe why "what's going on in NH" is relevant.
The answer is hard to swallow ("because whatever you're fighting for in Montana, isn't going to make any real difference") but then again so it a lot of what they have to say.
There's also a big positive, once the bitter pill is swallowed -- you don't have to stay in Montana. You can come out here and fight with HUNDREDS of other people who, like you, want more Freedom. Even if you disagree on one or two issues (like immigration, or the war in Iraq), you're at least going to be LEFT ALONE by the government.

And that's a damn fine thing.
