Male Plumage (Beards) - Hot or Not?

Today a discussion of bearded anti-aging researcher Aubrey de Grey of the Methuselah Foundation was followed by a discussion of beards. Mark referred to beard as "male plumage." What do you think about the way beards look on men?

Honestly, as long as it isn't a full beard and it's kept neat, I don't mind facial hair.  Not a big fan of stubble, my home microdermabrasion kit does a great job and I need no further help.
