Edit: if so, why???

Just because.  How do you know there isn't a Nuetral Evil God on the tartaran wastes of Carceri known as Nerull? ;)

I didn't know Greyhawk used the same Planescape as Forgotten Realms...

Reverse that.  Greyhawk is the "default" D&D campaign plane cosmology.  Forgotten Realms and Eberron came later and use the rule "if it's in D&D it's in here."  to maximize the investment of the players who buy all of the other books, which is why they use the Greyhawk pantheon.

Re: D&D analysis, correct.

And, if that pantheon were to be included, I think I would align myself with Kord.

Most libertarians tend to be people who don't take every notion at face value, but try to think through to the truth of things. This is the case of almost every new idea. Later, when the idea catches on with the general public, a different mind set takes over, with the majority of people willing to simply accept the ideas of the trend-setters.

Libertarians of today are different than libertarians a generation from now will be. Then, most people will say, "That government is best which governs least. Isn't that just the way it IS?"

I'm hoping that belief in mythical beings will go the way of belief in big government.
