Geez, I thought matzo was supposed to be *1* just water and wheat (or manna from heaven) and *2* unleavened.  At what point does it stop being "matzo" and starts being a freaking wheat dumpling?

Matzo is just flour and water.

But matzo balls would fall apart in the boiling water if they are just matzo meal and water.

I made matzo ball soup a couple times. I don't get it. Do Jews like that kind of stuff, or are they just punishing themselves?

Gefilte fish isn't that good. Jews from Eastern Europe are crazy about it, and I have no idea why. I was born in Iran and European-Jewish foods just confound me.

The funny thing is, many religious Jews avoid matza balls during passover because the possibility of "gebrockts".

I had a bunch of matzo balls with the hawayedge soup yesterday.

Today I went with couscous.

A couple years ago, the only thing I ate for the first three days of passover was matzo...while I was driving. Matzo is kinda messy.

Passover ends this evening, so feed those dry and fart-inducing Matzas to the birds. On the last evening of Passover, make Mufleta.

I sometimes buy Matza and put pepper jack cheese on it. Throw that in the microwave and with the melted cheese, it's really delicious. I've also dipped that stuff into Tostitos cheese dip. 8)

I think that counts as some sort of blasphemy.

My girlfriend makes some bomb matzah ball soup.

Anyways happy Passover.

I'd like to point out that Passover is a celebration of liberation from slavery and that I am glad to be moderately free living in the United States today.

Anybody else here do a Seder?
