Title: Free Talk Live in Talkers Magazine's "Heavy Hundred"
Post by: Alex Libman on March 11, 2008, 08:28:08 AM
The 2008 edition  (http://www.talkers.com/main/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=19&Itemid=44) of Talkers Magazine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talkers_Magazine)'s "Talkers 250" once again has Ian Bernard under "Hot Talk" in the also-rans list, which I guess means FTL is among 250 top talk radio shows in the nation, but not in the "Heavy Hundred" yet.  Does anyone know the actual ratings of the shows on the bottom of that top-100 list and how they compare to FTL's ratings?

If Ian goes to jail it may not happen (unless Gard takes over then which is unlikely).

I may have something to do with how much you spend in advertising with the mag.

Why would Ian be going to jail?

Because of all the naked pictures of you (when you were underage) he keeps stored on his computer?

I heard about them, but never believed it.

Why do you think I'm gonna visit Ian's while in NH for Porcfest?  That and I want to meet Senor Grouche Pants.

Hmm.  You should e-mail them to me, since I've never seen them either.

Forget magazines I don't read.  It's all about me, so FTL is already the best radio talk show, just like Ron Paul is already the best presidential candidate.

Why the hell is FTL listed as Hot Talk?

Why the hell is FTL listed as Hot Talk?

They probably don't have a category such as "Pure Unadulterated Truth"  :)

I didn't get to see Mr. Pants but I did get to see Ian's cat do tricks so I consider the trip a win.

I'm surprised more folk haven't chosen 2012 being that is the year the world is ending. Part of the prophecy being if Free Talk Live gets into the Top 100 that will release Cthulhu from the depths.

No, silly, Cthulhu isn't prophesied to be released until 2038, when the "Sakal/CAI presents Anarchy Drag Theater with Iyana and Marquette" passes "Sean Hannity's Talking-Head-on-Life-Support Show" for the #1 spot on the holographic radio ranking charts!

The February issue of Talkers Magazine (http://talkers.com/online/?page_id=217) says:

FTL
#97
!!!

Woo hoo!!

(FULL LIST) (http://talkers.com/online/?p=267)

Whoever voted 2009 got it right!

Show description says: "Ian Freeman & Mark Edge - Growing evening program centered on liberty-oriented topics.  Intense use of callers and expert guests."

(Oh, yeah, kudos Azwethinkweizm for beating me to this (http://bbs.freetalklive.com/index.php?topic=27537.0).)

That is when the United States will end.
