This reminds me a lot of 9/11 talk.  I'd be willing to accept assassination attempts mostly happen due to bureaucrat incompetence, not because there's someone competently serious about killing the POTUS.  Besides, if you kill one, another pops up in his place.

WRT Reagan, if it was a "false flag" situation, wouldn't the best time have been around the summer or autumn of '83 or so?  That would have been the ideal time for a "boost," before the next election cycle.

Reagan's was not a false flag but the CIA attempting to oust an unfriendly president like they did with Kennedy. Remember, the core movers in the GOP wanted an insider. That is why they filled his cabinet with neo-cons. It was an attempt to control him, which by and large worked.

In no way am I a Reagan fan but it would be silly to discount the power of the CIA and the fact various groups are wrestling over the power.
