Did five. I used to smoke, and now enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. Every now and then, a drink.
I used to smoke, and grow, pot. Then, gave it up when our five-year old started asking what that funny smell was. Nothing quite smells like fresh growing marijuana. No, it's not addicting. Gave it up without a bit of hesitation. Now, cigarettes--that's addicting!
LSD is out of style now, but was really popular when I was in my twenties. At least for me, it's awful stuff, and I never enjoyed it. What's to enjoy? You can't think, or even function, everything is all messed up, and it just won't go away. You can't even go to sleep.
Now, amphetamines are another story altogether. It's great...too great. No matter how boring things might be, half a hit can make the experience amazing. Trouble is, before you know it, it's three days since you've seen a bed, and you can feel your skin start to crawl. And, forget about sex. ("Feel that buzzing? That's your brain dissolving.")
