I know a lot of people ride them near me (more in NH than other other state) but I'm still not someone that desires to ride them.  Motorcycles are too dangerous for me.

I used to ride every day. Now, just a few times a year. I'm also too fat to fit into my gear.

I would argue that riding is pretty damned safe if you are alert and wear full gear with armor.

I was all set to buy one of these in 2003:

(Honda Shadow VLX 600)

Had the money set aside, was signed up for a motorcycle safety course.  Then I found out I'd be leaving the country, so I had to cancel the course and put the money toward moving expenses.  My parents were infinitely relieved, because the thought of my driving a motorcycle in Dallas kept them up at night.

I'd still like one...if you offered one to me, I definitely wouldn't say no.  But it's not anywhere near so important as before.  I'm a contented cager these days for the most part.

I do not. At some in the not-too-distant future, I will.

I would enjoy riding one, but not enough to make it happen yet.  I may get into it at some point in the future, but I'd probably get a PWC first.

I had an uncle who died in a motorcycle accident before I was born so my mother would not be happy if I took it up.  My gal wouldnt be happy either.

I think they're cool but I have neither the time, the money, or the need so I'll pursue other hobbies.

If I lived in a more rural area I would.

Be safe of you do.. I came across an accident a couple weeks ago.. Suburban vs. Harley. First thing I noticed (after the helicopter that removed the rider) was a pair of biker boots sitting next to a damaged bike. Suburban had a dented front end. Not good.

Yeah... I've been riding near daily in traffic and lane splitting for the last 3 years.  To be honest I'm a lot more worried about hurting myself on the dirt bike by doing stupid shit!  But I'm safe and have never been seriously injured despite all of the stupid shit I've done in my life.

This. A rural area far away from Southern California drivers and China Towns.
