Casting the Free Talk Live Movie
« on: June 05, 2009, 06:57:20 PM »

 :D

So, I'm just messing around based on the fact that not too long ago I watched the movie "The Machinist" and Christian Bale looks SOOOO much like Ian in it...
(Although, I'll give Ian credit and say that I don't think he's THAT Anorexic so, Bale actually manages to be skinnier than Ian in this movie) and he also manages to have a propensity for going around shirtless, and for some reason (maybe it's the thinness) he also seems to adopt some of Ian's mannerisms.

So, I got to thinking... "who would be cast for Mark...?" and I think it really comes down to

Dougray Scott

or

Clive Owen

Which do you think is a better match? Or would you suggest someone else?

Anyway... I think the casting for Ian would surely be in the bag...

and unfortunately, if I had to cast myself it'd probably be either...

What's so spooky about that clip from The Machinist is that it's dead on.  There is literally no other actor that looks more like Ian.

Clive Owen is okay for Mark, but he's too old.  I would actually stray a little further from physical resemblance and go with Paul Rudd.  He could do a good job with it.

Sizemore, little old but he could pull it off.

I can't believe no one mentioned the obvious match! Lindsay Lohan as Ian, and Xzibit as Mark.

Ok, maybe Lindsay Lohan is a far stretch, but Xzibit must have been separated from Mark at birth. They just look like twins or something...

Hey!  I've joked about Christian Bale playing Ian in a movie here first!  (And in context, actually.)  According to Ayn Rand, you've just violated my intewectual propertaah!  You'll be hearing from my Jewyer first thing tomorrow!

Anyway, I was going to suggest that Gardner Goldsmith (fake Jew) could be played by Sacha Baron Cohen (Jew), but I just saw Brüno (cam leak on P2P) and I now plan to assassassinate him, so you'd have to find someone else.  How about that Jew that played the parrot in that Disney movie about how great the middle east was before Jews took it over?  Because, as we all know, you have to hire at least one Jew in order to get anything made in Hollywood...

Damn Jews...

Interesting. Would the actors do the requisite Ian/Mark sex scene, though?
