It all depends on the technique of the partner.
It's boring as hell if it's just in-n-out, pretending the oral cavity were the vaginal one.

Good BJs are the best.  Way better than sex.  Even bad jobs are great as long as you are making out with someone else while it is happening or are fucked up.  Also, there are fun ways for a guy to interact with a girl while she is giving you a BJ.  Oh, and if you are tired, a BJ is a sure winner.
