From the shopping standpoint... don't give a flip.

As an excuse to spend the day at home, playing a game of Risk, a few hands of Munchkin, or being a vegetable with video games and/or LOTR movie marathon... Love it!

my wife goes shopping on it every year.  I always have to work.  with some of the shit she has seen, for example a woman got ran over for a papking space and driver of jumped out and yelled at woman she ran over (was obviously drivers vault) cuz now she was going to miss her sale.

I'm tempted to walk to the mall and watch people maim each other over big-screen TVs and whatever the tickle-me-elmo of 2008 is. But no way I am going to try to shop anywhere.

I just don't like being shopping on days where, year after year, I hear of stories on the radio of folk breaking out into mini-riots over a certain brand of clothing, or a tv.
