since my personal favorite, McLaren's Scotch Ale (a micro-brew at a local bar) is not available i had to go with my second favorite, guinness. although i really don't understand you people comparing
bass (a pale ale) to
guinness (a dry stout based off a porter). it just doesn't work. you should really start with favorite type of beer and then go to different brands of beer within that type. for example, if i am craving a glass of water i will drink a budweiser. if i said something dirty and need my mouth washed out with soap then pbr me asap. if there are werewolves around i'll go with coors light.
now, where is the champagne of beers, miller high life?
and what about the numberous others, for examply: strohs, old milwaukee, icehouse, anything made by molson, labatt, dos equis, peronni, thirsty dog brewing company beers, great lakes brewing company beers, yuengling, and the numerous other brews you can find boths imports and domestic?
