MacFall, I think your friend is pretty much completely wrong.  I notice that a lot of men have a "thing" for Asian women specifically.  I don't know.  But being a little white girl, I've often wondered. 

I've heard it explained that Oriental women tend to look a lot younger than their western counterparts, and guys like them because we're all secretly into really young girls.

I don't think that's quite true, but it's the only explanation I've heard.

That's what I think too. But I started noticing oriental on everything after that.

It's actually getting sort of difficult to tell, because there seems to be a lot more mixed race people now.  Like black/asian, or black/hispanic - those combinations often result in beautiful women.

Incidentally, there is a Japanese women's college near my house. Around 300 Japanese English majors, senors who are finishing up their final year of school. As part of their "American experience," they spend a weekend with an American family, always in pairs. We've hosted many of them in our home, and in exchange get to attend their graduation ceremonies, followed by a dinner. They really know how to throw a party!

I've notice is that none of these young ladies--none--is the least bit overweight. All are well dressed and well mannered.

I think that might be part of the attraction to Asian women - they're very thin, for the most part.  You just don't see many fat Asians...

I hope the white women take it gracefully when I say it seems to me that this is a large part of what makes them more attractive (translates as "more feminine" to me.)  There's also the aspect of being attracted to the "exotic."
