I gotta take a bath because I'm in a John Wayne movie and showers haven't been invented yet - straight.

I gotta light 10,000 scented candles, spend 20 minutes mixing all sorts of exotic water additives, and soak in the heated tub all day with cucumber slices over my eyes and water jets massaging the insides of my digestive system - gay.

(Not that there's anything wrong with that.)

On the scale of bubble baths, I have to rate that one about a 2.  It turns the water bright blue which is interesting, but the bubbles themselves aren't that big to begin with and fizzle out within a few minutes.

in certain situations baths can be acceptable, but they should be discouraged as unnecessarily feminine

Guys really shoot themselves in the foot by declaring anything tactilely enjoyable to be "feminine" or "gay."  Keep that sort of thing up, and you find yourself sleeping on a concrete block with sheets made of sandpaper.  It might not be comfy, but goddammit I ain't no fag!

That is actually very manly.

It's also good to soak to loosen stuff up sometimes.  Rinse with a shower after the soaking.

Baths are great for loosening up those hard crusted dingleberries. You need either a bath but the jacuzzi at the gym with other naked people of the same sex.

Yes, if you take a bath alone with candles and music.

No, if you don't take off yer spurs.

Bathing might not make someone gay, but it is certainly more gay than a shower.  Can we agree on this ?

LOL, if you guys understood the injuries I've had that would cause the desire for a regular soak and its associated temporary reduction in strain on my body, you'd have different opinions.

I'd trade the baths in for unbreaking all those bones in a picosecond.

Showering helps me treat problems i have with chronic migraines.

I like to let it steam up a little, and let the water pulse on my head.  Feels pretty good.

Tubs offer none of these benefits !

But it does reduce the strain on a 34 year old body that's had 37 broken bones and two spinal injuries for a little while.

Skateboarding, freestyle biking, car accidents. jumping out of helicopters.

I did slice my thumb open on a Cisco 4000 back in the day, though.
