Anticipating people to act out the persona they project is just a lack of stupidity.  If they don't, you get to be pleasantly surprised.  Theres not much downside to that. 

You've never struck me as a person who would treat an individual differently, once you've spoken to them and identified them as 'good' or 'bad' by whatever lizard-brain thing calculates that shit. 

I don't think racism is the perfect definition of what you, or I, or most people have.  I think its a wary predisposition to avoid unacceptable cultural splatter.

This thread was born out of some Indian-American getting pissed about me using the term "dot head" to describe THAT KIND of Indian on the chat and calling me a racist/bigot.

I tried for 2 hours to get something out of him, but that's all he could come up with.

It all came out of me saying the only dark skinned person I saw at PorcFest was an Indian. Then someone asked WHAT KIND of Indian. So I said "dot head". And then the shitstorm.

There were not that many.  I saw four black people.  A couple multi-race people.  Several Asians from various regions (Korea, India, etc).

Dot Head is not on the Wikipedia list of ethnic slurs, but Free Stater is.
